Swim and Survive is a comprehensive swimming and water safety initiative of Royal Life Saving that seeks to increase the swimming and water safety skills of all Australian children in order to prevent drowning and increase participation in safe aquatic activities.

Roxbylink endeavours to actively provide structured lessons and programs to suit the ages of anyone from 6 months to adulthood.  

Classes and programs are provided throughout the entire year.

 

Lessons

Our lessons are tailored to provide a steady progression for each level including water awareness and survival skills to prevent drowning accidents. Roxbylink swim school also provides private lessons and adult classes to cater for all ages and ability levels. These lessons can incorporate endurance swimming and stroke correction.

 

Private Lessons

Private lessons are available for children over 3 years and adults of all ages. Private lessons are booked according to instructor availability. Please email Emma for all enquiries: emma.cochrane@roxbylink.com.au

 

Enrolment

Roxbylink swim school normally runs for 10 weeks. Each lesson runs for 30 minutes and is conducted once a week throughout the swim school term.

Enrolment intake normally occurs a month before the beginning of term. If you would like to enrol into one of our terms please fill out an enrolment form located on the swim school information board next to the Roxbylink Kiosk. Please ensure you provide a valid e-mail address as this is the most efficient form of communication. Levels

The wonder level is a familiarisation program for parents and children aged 6 to 36 months. Parents are required in the water. These lessons consist of basic water skills, socialisation skills and water exploration.

The courage level is a program that builds water confidence for preschool aged children between the ages of 3-5 years. These lessons consists of independent water skills, basic survival skills and basic technique.

The active level is a swimming and water safety program for school aged children between the ages of 5-14 years.

The bronze level is for swimmers over the age of 14 who wish to continue swimming to build fitness and endurance.
